The second round of the 2024 Battle of the Bands: The 1970s tournament. On Hector’s bracket top seeded Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours easily knocked out 4th seeded The Who’s Who’s Next. Meanwhile on Coop’s bracket, top seeded Led Zeppelin’s Led Zeppelin IV crushed 5th seeded Billy Joel’s The Stranger. Both Fleetwood Mac and Led Zeppelin advance to the Elite 8 where they will compete in the finals of Hector and Coop’s bracket respectively

Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours led from start to finish capturing 75% of the vote. Led Zeppelin’s Led Zeppelin IV also led from start to finish capturing a whopping 84.6% of the vote

On Hector’s bracket top seeddd Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours will face the winner of the 2nd seeded Eagles’ Hotel California and 6th seeded Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here. On Coops bracket top seeded Led Zeppelin’s Led Zeppelin IV will face the winner of the matchup between 2nd seeded The Clash’s London Calling and 3rd seeded Led Zeppelin’s Physical Graffiti.
