In 2020, Led Zeppelin dominated the Battle of the Bands tournament, and appeared to be en-route to doing the same. In what had to be a shocking upset, The Clash’s London Calling won a decisive victory over Led Zeppelin’s Physical Graffiti. It’s the first time ever Led Zeppelin has lost a BOTB contest, however Led Zeppelin still has an entry in the Elite 8 with Led Zeppelin IV. Meanwhile Pink Floyd continues to steamroll with Wish You Were Here anniliating The Eagles Hotel California.
On Coop’s bracket, 3rd seeded Led Zeppelin’s Physical Graffiti fell behind early and never mounted a comeback to 2nd seeded The Clash’s London Calling. The Clash would win with 60% of the vote.
