BOTB 1970s: Pink Floyd Wins Surgeon’s Bracket and Lands Third Final Four Spot

Pink Floyd’s run in the 2024 Battle of the Bands Tournament continues. The band landed its third album as The Wall edged out Queen’s A Night at the Opera in Surgeon’s bracket.

Queen kept it close, but could not get over the top. The Wall would win 58.3% to 41.7% for A Night at the Opera.

Not only has Pink Floyd landed three albums in the final four, but the band has clinched a spot in the Finals. Led Zeppelin with Led Zeppelin IV is the only non Pink Floyd album in the final four

The Final Four is as follows:

• Wish You Here Here, Pink Floyd (Hector) vs. The Wall, Pink Floyd (Surgeon)
• Led Zeppelin IV, Led Zeppelin (Coop) vs. Dark Side of the Moon, Pink Floyd (Dave)

A Final Four Show will debut Tuesday 7/16 8pm ET on Prime Time Jukebox. The Final Four commences on Thursday 7/18.
