90s Madness: Metallica Holds off Counting Crows While Pearl Jam Rolls Over Wu-Tang Clan to Earn Final Four Spots

Metallica and Pearl Jam have earned the final two spots in the 90s Madness Fina Four – winning Coop and Surgeons brackets respectively.

On Coop’s bracket, top seeded Metallica’s Black Album built a massive lead early on, then survived a huge rally by the sixth seeding Counting Crows’ August and Everything After. Metallica ended up capturing 56% of the final vote.

Meanwhile on Surgeon’s bracket, sixth seeded Wu-Tang Clan’s Enter the Wu-Tang quest for the final four came to crashing halt as top seeded Pearl Jam’s Ten steamrolled to victory. Pearl Jam captured 68.2% of the vote.

The FINAL FOUR IS SET AND WILL BEGIN MAY 3rd. On May 2nd, a special Final Four Pre-Game Show will air as we preview the matchups and look closer at the albums.
