90s Madness: Pearl Jam defeats Alanis to Advance to Championship

Alanis Morissette’s quest for the championship is over. In the first of the 90s Madness Final Four matchups, Pearl Jam’s Ten cruised from start to finish to a victory over Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill.  Pearl Jam would capture 69.4% of the vote.

Pearl Jam had won John McTavish’s bracket, while Alanis Morissette was a somewhat surprise winner of Dave Burck’s bracket. Pearl Jam was a second round pick by John while Dave picked Alanis in the third round.

Pearl Jam’s Ten will face the winner of the second final four matchup between Nirvana Nevermind (the winner of Hector Alfonso’s bracket) and Metallica, Metallica (the winner of Will Cooper’s bracket). The second final four matchup will open the morning (US Eastern time) of May 9, 2022.
