Prime Time Jukebox’s Battle of the Bands’ 90s Madness Tournament is now in the annals of history. Nirvana’s Nevermind, the top-seed in the tournament as selected by Hector Alfonso Sr. defeated Pearl Jam’s Ten, the winner of John McTavish’s bracket.
Nirvana would capture 57.1% of the vote to claim the title. This was a matchup that saw Nirvana move into the lead early. Pearl Jam kept it close, but couldn’t quite get over the hump.

In winning the tournament, an Album Archaeology Show on Nirvana’s Nevermind will be scheduled in the upcoming weeks
The prizes will be decided by May 25th. Thank you to our audience for participating!!! Special thanks to Hector and John for being a part of this.
Here are the final bracket results:
This is the only way it could have gone down. All hail the King!
