Survey: Britney Spears Most Wanted Guest Performer with Rihanna for Big Game

On Prime Time Jukebox Episode 88, Dave and Coop went through their predictions for the guest performer for Rihanna’s halftime show. Recently, VegasInsider.com has conducted a survey and according to the results of the survey, Britney Spears is the most wanted guest performer, and Rihanna’s Diamonds is the most wanted song.

Spears received 22.6 of the votes to lead the way for choice of guest performers. This was followed by Eminem (19.46% of votes) and ASAP Rocky (14.53%).

Meanwhile Diamonds was the most wanted song on Rihanna’s setlist followed by Don’t Stop the Music and All f the Lights. Diamond’s was the most popular choice in 11 states followed by Disturbia and Can’t Remember to Forget You (each with four states).

The survey also asked respondents for the most popular halftime show of the last ten years. Last year’s The 2022 Halftime Show (Dr.Dre, Snoop Dog, Eminem, Mary J.Blige & Kendrick Lamar) is the most popular halftime show amongst Americans (14.9% of votes), followed by JLo & Shakira’s (13.06% of votes) and Lady Gaga’s (12.8% of votes).

Finally the survey asked for viewing patterns for the game and halftime. 12% of Americans are not planning to watch the game nor the halftime show, while 11% are planning to watch ONLY the halftime show, 20% are planning to watch ONLY the game, 56% will watch BOTH.

Note: The survey was conducted by VegasInsider between 15-17th of January 2023 through an external survey provider with a sample size of 1161 respondents, which were split equally to represent the age groups and geographical distribution of the population in the United States in order to achieve an accurate representation of the population’s opinions
