AVO Cigars to Collaborate with DJ D-Nice for AVO Expressions 2024

AVO Cigars has announced it is collaborating with world-renowned musical artist DJ D-Nice for Avo Expressions 2024. This will be a limited edition project of 2,500 15-count boxes that will be released in 2023.

Derrick “D-Nice” Jones is an American DJ, record producer, and rapper. He began his career in the mid-1980s with the hip-hop group Boogie Down Productions. D-Nice is also credited with discovering Kid Rock in 1988, landing Rock a deal with Jive Records. In March 2020, D-Nice began hosting Homeschool at Club Quarantine on Instagram Live from his home as a way for people to come together and help others cope with the COVID-19 global health crisis. He was nominated for Time Magazine’s 2020 Person of the Year that same year. In 2021, he won Entertainer of the Year honors at the NAACP Image Awards and participated in the Met and Kennedy Center Honors Galas. Other notable appearances include Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve and the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in Cannes, France.

The AVO brand is a brand under Davidoff that was founded by Avo Uvezian, a jazz composer and pianist. The brand has always had ties to the music business. The AVO Expressions project with DJ D-Nice represents the brand going in a more contemporary direction.

While the Avo Expressions 2024 collaboration with DJ D-Nice has been announced, details of the cigar will be forthcoming in the upcoming months.According to a social media post by DJ D-Nice, the release was targeted for the second quarter of 2024.
