Sophie Dead at 34

Sophie Xeon, the Scottish artist and producer better known as Sophie has died from an accidental fall in Athens, Greece. She was 34 years old.

Sophie is considered to be an innovator in the world of underground dance music incorporating elements of techno, trace, pop, and avant-garde.

A statement from Sophie’s record label Transgressive read: “Tragically our beautiful Sophie passed away this morning after a terrible accident. True to her spirituality she had climbed up to watch the full moon and accidentally slipped and fell. She will always be here with us. The family thank everyone for their love and support and request privacy at this devastating time.”
