90s Madness: Top Seeds Nirvana and Radiohead Advance to Elite 8

Two #1 seeds, Nirvana and Radiohead easily won their Sweet 16 matchups and advanced to the Elite 8.

On Hector’s bracket, top seeded Nirvana’s Nevermind had no problem beating 4th seeded Eminem’s The Slim Shady LP. Nirvana captures 78.6% of the vote in the matchup.

Meanwhile on Dave’s bracket, top seeded Radiohead’s OK Computer easily eliminated 5th seeded Lauryn Hill’s The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. Radiohead won by capturing 71.4% of the vote.

The Elite 8 will feature the bracket finals of Hector Alfonso, Dave Burck, John “Cigar Surgeon” McTavish and Will Cooper. On Hector’s bracket it will be top seeded Nirvana’s Nervermind against the winner between 2nd seeded Green Day” Dookie and 3rd seeded Dr. Dre’s The Chronic. On Dave’s bracket, top seeded Radiohead’s OK Computer will play the winner of the matchup between 3rd seeded Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill and and 7th seeded Beastie Boys’ Check Your Head.
