90s Madness: Beastie Boys Deliver Crushing Upset to Public Enemy while Green Day Beats Red Hot Chili Peppers

The 2-7 matchups in 90s Madness have commenced and the Beastie Boys and Green Day have punched their tickets to the Sweet Sixteen.

On Dave’s bracket, a major upset occurred as 7th seeded Beastie Boys Check Your Head crushed 2nd seeded Public Enemy’s Fear of the Black Planet capturing 80% of the vote. The Beastie Boys built an early lead and never looked back.

Meanwhile on Hector’s bracket, the 2nd seeded Green Day’s Dookie had little trouble with the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Red Sugar Sex Magic capturing 66.7% of the vote. Green Day also led from start to finish.

On Dave’s bracket, Beastie Boys Check Your Head will now face 3rd seeded Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill in the Sweet Sixteen. Meanwhile on Hector’s bracket, Green Day’s Dookie will face 3rd seeded Dr. Dre’s The Chronic.
