Two 6-seeds have landed the final spots in the Elite 8. Both Counting Crows and Wu-Tang Clan had easy wins in their sweet sixteen matchups
On Surgeon’s bracket, 6th-seeded Wu-Tang Clan’ Enter the Wu-Tang Clan easily eliminated 7th seeded Guns N Roses Use Your Illusion 1/2. Wu-Tang Clan captured 70% of the vote. Guns N Roses was a first round pick by Surgeon, an is the first first-rounder to be eliminated.
Meanwhile on Coop’s bracket, the 6th seeded Counting Crows’ August and Everything After eliminated 7th seeded Billy Joel’ The River of Dreams. The Counting Crows would capture 72.9% in a landslide. Joel is the only artist to win Battle of the Band matchups in all three years.
