It came down to the top two seeds on Dave’s bracket to decide who would represent Dave in the Battle of the Bands Finals. This time, #2 came out over #1 as Hendrix easily beat top-seed Nirvana to win Dave’s bracket. Hendrix now moves on to the Battle of the Bands finals where he will face off again Frank Sinatra who won Coop’s bracket. Sinatra was a second seed on Coop’s side of the bracket
It was a very easy win for Jimi Hendrix who lead from start to finish. Hendrix would capture 66.7% of the vote in the process.
Hendrix would defeat Nina Simone, The Allman Brothers Band, Bruce Springsteen, and Nirvana to reach the finals.
On Monday April 19th, Prime Time Jukebox will air a special pre-game show previewing the matchup between Jimi Hendrix and Frank Sinatra. On Weds April 21st, the Battle of the Bands Finals will commence. When the finals are completed, contest winners will be selected.
