Frank Sinatra Wins 2021 Battle of the Bands

Prime Time Jukebox’s second annual Battle of the Bands has come to a conclusion and in a very close battle, Frank Sinatra rallied from behind to defeat Jimi Hendrix and win the 2021 Prime Time Jukebox Battle of the Bands.

The battle between Sinatra and Hendrix was close from start to finish. After the first 24 hours, Hendrix had a slight lead over Sinatra. The second day saw Sinatra fans rally and put the Chairman of the Board over the top. Sinatra would finish with 52.6% one the vote.

Jimi Hendrix was the winner of Dave’s bracket. Along the way Hendrix eliminated Nina Simone, The Allman Brothers Band, Bruce Springsteen, and Nirvana.

Meanwhile Sinatra, who was the 16th and final pick in the 2021 Battle of the Bands Draft by Coop won his bracket defeating Duran Duran, Billy Joel, Paul McCartney, and Elvis Presley.

Prior to the matchup, we did a pre-game show. In addition, a special show dedicated to Frank Sinatra will air on Prime Time Jukebox in the near future.

This is the second consecutive year for Battle of the Bands. In 2020, Led Zeppelin defeated Pink Floyd in the finals.
